Barcelona, September 2019. 150 people gather to the Learning Spaces Summit 2019 discussing current trends and innovation in teaching, learning and learning space design. I facilitated an interactive LEGO SERIOUS PLAY workshop using 3D models as a base for group table discussions around skills of the future, barriers for learning and learning innovation in general.

Three workshops, three cities, one topic. Simultaneously in Frankfurt, Bergamo and Frankfurt we will conduct a LEGO SERIOUS PLAY workshop discussing working in virtual teams. What are the specific requirements, what makes remote team work special? And how can we improve it?

Lack of trust, fear of conflict and low commitment - there are a lot of reasons why teams sometimes do not work properly. One reason is often underestimated: misunderstandings. We too often take for granted that our person opposite will somehow understand what we mean. But that is wrong. To avoid these communication problems, LEGO Serious Play can help.
